Last Thursday was one of those pinch-me moments as I was lucky enough to be the on-site calligrapher for a truly spectacular event hosted by Selfridges, in collaboration with the iconic fashion designer Dries Van Noten. The private event was held at the magnificent Chatsworth House in Derbyshire – and what a setting it was!
The event brought together Selfridges’ VIP customers for an exclusive evening of elegance, fashion, and unforgettable experiences. I was on-site throughout the afternoon, creating handwritten place cards for the dinner guests, as well as personalised notecards placed in each guest’s bedroom – a thoughtful and luxurious touch.
Events like these are an absolute dream to work on. The attention to detail, the atmosphere, and the creative styling are all on another level – and being able to contribute my calligraphy services to such a beautifully curated experience is always an honour.
