Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of spending the day engraving for PRADA at Selfridges, and what a day it was.
Over the course of an eight-hour shift, I personalised countless PRADA pieces for customers, from perfumes and aftershaves to lip balms and lip glosses. I genuinely lost track of how many items passed through my hands, each one becoming a little more special with bespoke engraving.
One of the highlights was hearing customers’ reactions as they saw their items being personalised. My favourite comment of the day?
“Oh that’s amazing… you know what, I’ll buy another two to have them engraved!”
Moments like that never get old and perfectly capture why personalisation makes such an impact.
It was lovely meeting so many people throughout the day, many of whom were choosing engraved gifts for Christmas. There’s something really special about knowing these pieces will be unwrapped on Christmas Day and treasured long after.
